AIR DEFENSE MISSILE SYSTEM S–300

Designed for destroying aerodynamic and ballistic means of air attack. Anti-aircraft missile system (hereinafter SAM) can fire 6 targets simultaneously with the guidance of up to 2 missiles on each target channel. Air defense system provides destruction of targets flying at the speeds from 30–40 m/s to 1,200 m/s when firing at the head-on courses and at the heights from 25 meters to 27 km.
