Vitebsk-based “Display” Design office”, JSC, has finished assembling the first specimen of the new display module UD-400 Type 4N complying with the 3ATI aviation industry standard.
What was modified for the new version (Type 4N):
• Complete adaptation to night vision devices: The module is compliant with MIL-STD-3009 and was adapted for use with night vision devices. This broadens its application quite considerably allowing to use the new product in helicopter engineering.
• 100% interchangeability: The overall and mounting dimensions of the new product are fully compatible with the basic item UD-400 Type 4. The equipment upgrade will not affect the design of seats.

These are specialized rugged aircraft display modules created to display graphic, digital, television and alphabetic information in the harshest operating environments.
Key features of the series:
• Extreme durability: The devices are designed to withstand severe vibrations, shocks and sudden temperature variations.
• High brightness: The picture remains clear and easily readable even in direct and bright ambient light environments.
• High-tech outfit: Depending on the modification, the modules are fitted with multicolour liquid-crystal matrices and smart backlight.
The new Type 4N modification has kept all the key advantages of the rugged series, while being granted an important functionality for nighttime operation and an access to the helicopter market.
