As part of a comprehensive effort to upgrade weapons and military equipment, 2566 Radioelectronic Armament Repair Plant JSC has completed a major modernisation of the 9T217 transloader for the Osa SAM system, upgrading it to the 9T217-1B standard.
The vehicle is now mounted on a modern MAZ-5316 4×4 chassis, which significantly improves its operational performance and increases its missile-carrying capacity.
In addition, the vehicle's lifting equipment and radio communication systems have been completely replaced, and a remote crane control system has been integrated.
